REPOST: THE GIRL

Con los finales de la universidad encima no he tenido tiempo para postear como quisiera (más mi decadente conexión a internet, total que el hacer updates en el blog se ha vuelto una tarea difícil). Aprovecho para hacer un repost de una ilustración que hice el año pasado y que es una de mis preferidas: un retrato de Audrey Hepburn en la memorable "Desayuno con Diamantes" celebrando que un día como hoy pero de 1929 nació esta actriz que muchos consideramos un ícono que ha dejado una huella imborrable./ With my tons of homeworks for my last projects for the university I can´t find enough time to post as I would like (and add my failing internet connection... blog has become such a difficult task). Today I would like to share with you a repost of an illustration I did last year and it´s one of my favorites: a portrait of Audrey Hepburn in the memorable film "Breakfast at Tiffany´s", celebrating that she born in a day like this but in 1929, many people consider her as an icon who has left an indelible mark.

Muchas gracias con sus comentarios sobre mi regreso y sobre mi cumpleaños, me hacen sentir bastante feliz y con ganas de retomar el blog que quedó abandonado por un tiempo (perdón pero saben la situación con el internet :( ). Vamos a comenzar el día con la mejor actitud y una ilustración, ¿qué les parece?, últimamente me he sentido muy feliz (con un poquito de nostalgia extrañando mi hogar) ¡pero feliz! / Thanks for the comments about my return and my birthday , you make me feel quite happy and fill me with energy to share a lot of posts again (sorry for the lack of posts, you know my internet situation :( ). Let´s start our day with the best attitude and with an illustration to celebrate it! what do you think?, by the way I´m feeling incredibly happy (feeling kinda nostalgic too, missing my home) but so happy!

¡Hoy es mi cumpleaños!, sinceramente ni me acordaba, he estado haciendo tantas cosas que se me va el día en un 2 x 3, nunca he sido mucho de celebrarme pero siempre de dar gracias por un año más de vida, bendiciones y por tener a personas muy especiales a mi lado. Este es el primer cumpleaños que paso lejos de casa, y eso aunque me da un poco de nostalgia también me hace apreciar aún más las cosas valiosas que tengo./ Yes, man! Today is my birthday!, honestly I also forgot it, I´ven been doing so many things that my day is running quickly, I´ve never been the kind of person who make the biggest celebrations, but I am the kind of ones that give thanks for another year of life, for the blessings and for those special people. This is the first birthday I spend away from home, it´s kinda nostalgic but it makes me appreciate even more the valuable things that I have in my life.
